Also i was reading mathew 12-32 the unpardonable sin and am i doomed and condemned?

Signed,

Wondering

Dear Wondering,

I actually get this question fairly often. Sometimes after people read Matthew 12:30-32 they are afraid that they have blasphemed against the Holy Spirit somehow and that they cannot be forgiven.

Matthew 12:30-32 (NIV)
30 “He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. 31 And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

The unpardonable sin is not accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, not accepting the gift offered by God of forgiveness which was made available through the cross. The Holy Spirit has come to make Jesus known, refusing His offer of salvation through Christ is the unpardonable sin.

John 16:13-15 (NIV)
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.

John 3:16-18 (NIV)
16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior then you are not condemned!

Hope that helps!
